Annoyance turns into ideation
Our story began in 2021
Thomas, the company founder, realized that managing his small-scale property portfolio was different from any other management activity he had dealt with before—and not in a good way! The traditional property management with paperwork, photos, cover sheets, and PDF files in folders, drawers, and hard drives was characterized by scatter and unnecessary effort.
The collection and storage of files and information in different places, disconnected from each other, created many opportunities for omissions, delays, misunderstandings, and ultimately, costly and avoidable mistakes.
Inspiration strikes
Why accept unnecessary effort as unavoidable?
It would be fantastic, he thought, if all the information were in one place, and a digital system automatically alerted me to pending tasks and anything else that needed my attention, before it was even needed. He was probably not the only one facing such problems with property management! Thus, Thomas soon began his market research with interviews of many experienced real estate agents and property management professionals, focusing on the needs of their daily professional lives.
A solution starts forming
Grasping opportunities through digitalization of processes
Very soon, and already from the first discussions, Thomas confirmed that his intuition was indeed correct: there were indeed tremendous opportunities for improving property management in Greece, with all its peculiarities and intricacies. These findings quickly led to a software prototype. It was tested by experienced professionals in the field, who provided further insights and requests for the functionality and the user interface of the software we now know as Breek.gr.

In 2023 we created the future of property management in Greece
We emphasised the needs of property managers
Thomas brought Isaak to the team, an expert with 15+ years of experience in product development and management. Isaak further developed the business model and the necessary functionality of the ideal software.
Search and evaluation of implementation partners
Isaac evaluated software development providers, seeking the right implementation partners for such an ambitious and well-scoped software development project focusing on the clear needs of property managers and owners.
Enganging potential users in the development
Based on all the knowledge gathered from the previous research, the now extended team developed further conceptual prototypes. With enthusiastic feedback from future users as their compass, the team improved and added important elements that make the software accessible and enjoyable, regardless of the user’s experience level.
Launch and continuous improvement
On April 5th, 2024, we publicly launched Breek.gr, a web-based software application that implements all our rich experience and feedback from property managers and owners since 2021, helping to define the future of property management for the Greek market.
